Ver (வேர்) means root in Tamil. This is a free learning app built around the things Tamil speakers actually grow up with: folk proverbs with their meanings and stories, the complete Thirukkural — all 1330 couplets with English translation and Tamil commentary — Avvaiyar's Aathichudi, grammar with worked examples, number words, letter sounds, traditional measurements and the sixty-year calendar cycle.

Everything can be read in more than 55 languages, so a family spread across Chennai, Singapore, London and Toronto can learn from the same page — each in the language they know best, always alongside the Tamil original.
