Probability tells you how likely something is, from 0 to 1.
Probability = ways it can happen ÷ all the possible results. 0 means never, ½ means half the time, 1 means always.
Think of it like thisRolling a 7 on a dice is impossible: 0. Rolling a number from 1 to 6 is certain: 1. Rolling a 4 is 1 chance in 6.

A bag has 5 red, 3 blue and 2 green marbles. You pick one without looking. What is the chance it is blue?
Count all the marbles.
5 + 3 + 2 = 103 of them are blue.
